Hagalaz
Interpretation
Hagalaz is about destruction natural forces: earthquakes, storms, lightning, and all the ways that the raw power of nature cannot be controlled. In this sense it is also associated with the unconscious minds, an energy which much be respected and cannot be successfully resisted. You might not be happy about the destructive force of hagalaz but it will bring the end of things and thus create space for something new. This is the cycle of karma.
