Esbats ~ Waning Moon (Part 5)

Following my other posts relating to the Moon phases, here is my next entry about the Waning Moon.  A paragraph or two about the Goddess role during this time will be added shortly. Check back soon.

Waning Moon

The Waning Moon decreases from left to right and is sometimes called the “Left-Hand Moon” – the crescent is like the curve between the left-hand’s index finger and thumb.  This is the time between the Full Moon and the New Moon.  The Goddess is in her final phase of the Crone.



Magical Workings: Decrease, Banishing, Undesirable Energy, Unwanted Feelings, Physical Healing, Bad Habits, Wisdom, Communication, Binding, Rites of Withdrawal, Rites of Croning, Limiting Overactive Energy or Situations and Justice.
